How to grow a beard if you can’t

grow a beard

Many men are looking for effective remedies to help grow a beard if it does not grow. But the best result gives not drugs and perfume products, but the elimination of the causes that cause the problem.

Causes of the lack of beard growth on some parts of the face

The specific reasons will be established by a trichologist. But usually the uneven growth of the beard is caused by:

  • genetically – this disorder is worse to treat;
  • hormonal abnormalities, in which you should consult an endocrinologist;
  • is the result of improper care;
  • associated with poor circulation, stress and fatigue.

It is impossible to answer unequivocally what to do if the beard grows in places. It depends on the situation. But you need to choose the right shape of the beard, the direction of the vegetation, buy good care products.

Ways to eliminate them at home

If the beard does not grow, it is not possible to do something about genetics. But it is possible to correct mistakes in the care of the skin and hair. This will give a good effect, although it will take a lot of time.

A balanced diet

For the beard to grow evenly, you need to activate the follicles in the problem areas. This requires that the skin does not suffer from dehydration, getting enough fluids and vitamins. You should drink at least 1.5 liters of water per day.

In order for the beard to grow thick, you need to make adjustments to the diet. It should include:

  • Products containing ascorbic acid (vitamin C). It improves circulation and promotes the activation of hair follicles. It is found in cabbage, apples, tomatoes, tangerines, lemons, etc. You can drink decoction of rose hips and sea buckthorn, it also contains a lot of vitamin C.
  • Foods high in vitamin A. Retinol keeps the skin in a normal state, eliminates dryness. They are carrots, sweet peppers, apricots, and cheese. Retinol is found in sea fish, eggs and liver, as well as in avocados.
  • Vegetable oils (sunflower, olive, corn) and nuts. They contain vitamin E, fatty acids, proteins and other elements necessary for strengthening hair.

Increase in testosterone

If the beard is not growing, it is necessary to do a hormone test. If the cause is a lack of testosterone, only a trichologist or endocrinologist can prescribe medication. But something can be done by yourself. Causes of decreased testosterone levels:

  • Low physical activity;
  • Chronic stress;
  • problems with sleep;
  • taking certain medications;
  • The presence of diseases of the endocrine system.

Your doctor will tell you what you need to do to eliminate abnormalities. Do not take hormonal drugs without consulting a specialist. But to reconsider your lifestyle, start exercising, take care of proper rest – you can do it yourself. You can also include in your diet more foods containing fatty acids and zinc.

Taking vitamin complexes

If the beard does not grow quickly, vitamin complexes can help. Choose those that contain B vitamins:

  • Thiamine (vitamin B1) is necessary for hair growth;
  • vitamins B3, B5 normalize blood circulation;
  • pyrodoxine (vitamin B6) is necessary for normal metabolism;
  • Biotin (B7) contributes to the fact that the hair will grow thicker and stronger;
  • folic acid (vitamin B9) affects the thickness of hair;
  • Vitamin B12 is essential for oxygen supply.

Use of special masks

Folk remedies do not give a quick effect. But using them on a regular basis in combination with the treatment prescribed by the doctor, it is possible to grow a beard if it grows unevenly. Most home remedies are based on plant extracts.

With cognac

Take 1 tablespoon of burdock oil, 5 drops of vitamin E in liquid form, ½ tbsp. cognac. Apply the mixture to the chin and cheeks for 20 minutes and wash it off.

With mustard and amla oil

If you want your beard to grow quickly, it is worth using amla oil (based on Indian gooseberries). It is an Ayurvedic remedy, which is used in combination with powdered mustard – it is needed to activate the hair follicles:

  • For 3 tablespoons of mustard, take 6 tablespoons of amla oil.
  • The ingredients are mixed to obtain a homogeneous paste.
  • The remedy is applied to the skin of the face (cheeks, chin, cheekbones) and left for 20 minutes. It is best to cover the top with plastic wrap.
  • Rinse with warm water.

The remains of the prepared remedy can be used for 2-3 days, they will not have time to deteriorate.

Solution with eucalyptus oil

This is a quick home recipe. To prepare the solution, take eucalyptus essential oil and warm water in the ratio of 1:4. A cotton pad is moistened with the solution and wipe the skin. The procedure is repeated daily.

This oil moistens the hair and helps to grow a beard. But if irritation begins when using the remedy, the use should be discontinued.

With honey and milk

Many popular hair masks contain these ingredients. They nourish the hair and soften the skin. Take 2 tbsp. milk, 1 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice and 2 tbsp. honey. This mass is applied to the skin and beard, make a light massage. The mask should be kept for at least 1 hour.

With lime juice and cinnamon

To prepare the composition, take 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon and 2 tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juice. The ingredients are mixed and applied to the skin and hair for 25-30 minutes, then rinse with clean warm water. The condition for use is good tolerance of the ingredients. If there are signs of irritation, you must stop the use of funds.

With hot pepper

Growing thick vegetation is not easy. To make the fluff turn into a beard, you can use a remedy based on burdock oil and hot pepper. Make a mask of 1 tbsp. oil, 1 tbsp. brandy, 1 tbsp. pepper tincture. The same amount of honey can also be added. The product is applied to the skin and hair no longer than 20 minutes. You may feel a slight burning sensation. After 20 minutes, rinse with warm water.

With aloe and garlic

Take 1 tbsp. aloe juice, the same amount of honey, 1-2 crushed garlic cloves and an egg yolk. The components are mixed, the mask is applied to the hair and chin for 30 minutes. Then you need to rinse everything off very carefully, because the smell can remain.

Tar soap

This is an ancient remedy that is used for hair growth. Also suitable for those cases where the beard grows bad: slow or uneven. Diluted tar soap is a natural product with a unique chemical composition. But they should not be abused.

Protective soap is used when washing instead of shampooing. Soap the bristles with a whole bar is not allowed. You need a foam, which is made with soap shavings diluted with a lot of water. This foam treat the entire face, not just problem areas. Leave the product for 4-5 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

Elimination of the defect of growth of an irregular beard in a specialized clinic – transplantation of hair follicles

There is a radical answer to the question of what to do if a man does not grow a beard on his cheeks.

There are different methods:

  • FUT – involves the transplantation of follicular units. The skin with hair follicles is transplanted from the back of the head surgically. Doctors call this material grafts. The skin is transplanted to the face – wherever there are gaps or uneven growth. After some time there grows stubble and then dense and long hairs.
  • Non-surgical FUE method. Grafts are extracted with a special tool, the skin is hardly traumatized and quickly recovers. After the material is transplanted to the cheeks, fluff quickly appears, and then the hair goes through a full life cycle.
  • The most modern method is HFE. A micropunch is used to extract the hair follicles, with virtually no trauma to the skin. The bulbs are placed with a certain frequency and angle of hair growth direction to ensure a good result. Subsequently, they grow evenly.

Any interference with the body can be dangerous. Such procedures are not carried out for teenagers, people with diabetes, cardiovascular diseases. Before them it is necessary to consult with a doctor.
